The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) is a general purpose machine wich can move many types of tools in the space (3D). This small CNC Router realized at school can handle only a pen but is enough to show how many uses can have a similar invention in the industrial field. The goal of this project was not just to realize something functional and working but also to build something using recycled and easy to find materials. The main structure, for example, is realized in MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) wich is very cheap, but we can also find recycled parts of computers and old printers (the power supply, the controller's chassis and many cables come from an old desktop PC).
